Dare County, Roanoke Island, North Carolina, native born and raised by two wonderful parents with two older sisters and one younger sister in the fishing village of Wanchese. 

My love of the outdoors began early in my childhood spending many days in the ocean swimming, surfing and fishing and in the local sounds fishing, boating and hunting. As a teenager, I began working on charter boats fishing inshore and offshore out of Oregon Inlet from the Oregon Inlet Fishing Center and Pirate’s Cove Marina. After completion of Manteo High School, I went to work commercial fishing on long line boats targeting tunas and swordfish. This part of my career took me from George’s Banks off Canada all the way south to the Caribbean Sea below Puerto Rico.

In the mid 1990’s I began my real estate career, becoming a licensed real estate agent here in Dare County helping families purchase homes in and around the Outer Banks of North Carolina. As a proud native, I believe that nature and history have combined here to make this area unique and I have always loved sharing this special place with special people.

Now, being a grandfather of two little girls under the age of 6, my greatest joy is boating with them here on the calm waters of Roanoke Sound watching the dolphins and enjoying the beautiful sunsets in the place I’ve always been blessed to call HOME.
